JAMMU, Dec 9: Students from MHAC School, Nagbani, showcased exceptional talent at the DAV National Sports Championship held in NCR Delhi. A total of 300 students from the school participated in various sports, contributing to J&K Zone’s impressive performance with 2 Gold, 4 Silver and 3 Bronze medals.
Daksh Gabgotra of 11th B bagged a Gold medal in Judo, while Udhay Singh of 10th B won Gold in Wushu. Silver medals were clinched by Ankit Chib, Lovish Singh and Devesh Mahajan in Wushu. Arush Gupta, Radhika Sharma and Shubham Gupta won Bronze in Karate, Roller Skating, and Judo. The Boys’ U-19 Volleyball team finished as runners-up, while the Girls’ U-19 Basketball team secured 4th place. The Chess U-17 team ranked 6th.
Principal Brij Mohan, who is also the J&K State Coordinator for DAV National Sports, congratulated the winners and urged them to continue excelling in sports.
