MHAC Nagbani lifts U-14 boys inter-school football title

JAMMU, May 16: Solitary goal victory over the formidable side of KC Public School in the summit clash helped MHAC School Nagbani to lift the title trophy of the Under-14 boys inter-school football tournament, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, under the patronage of its Director General, Navin Agarwal at GGM Science College ground, here today.
The players of both the teams played displayed superb soccer skills in both the halves. However, Arun of MHAC Nagbani succeeded in pelting a goal to guide in his team to (1-0) win.
In Under-17 boys’ football final, the strong side of BSF School Paloura lost the final battle to remain runners-up in the tournament.
The tournament was held under the chairmanship of Rishi Kumar, Deputy Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu and under the overall supervision of  Sukhdev Raj DYSSO Jammu.
SN Metha, DIG BSF Paloura was the chief guest on the closing ceremony, who interacted with the participating players on the occasion.
The matches were officiated by Rakesh Kakkar, Ajay Kumar, Bharat Bhushan, Rohit Gupta, Gurbachan Singh, Mahadev Singh, Jyoti, Satinder Singh and Ravinder Singh.
