Mendhar CC lifts Goldy Memorial Cricket title

POONCH, Sept 3: Mendhar Cricket Club emerged winner of the Goldy Memorial Cricket tournament by defeating Five Stars and lifted the title, organised by Mendhar Gunners at Mendhar Garrison’s OP Hill Stadium, here today.
The event was organised by the Army in collaboration with Mendhar Cricket Club wherein 22 teams participated in the 25 days long cricket extravaganza. The first match of the tournament was played on August 16 between MCC and Bedi Cricket Club.
SDPO Zaheer Jaffari, SDM Dr Sahil Jandyal, BMO Dr Parvaiz Khan, Balram Sharma, Sanatan Sabha president and family members of Goldy Sharma were present during the final event.
The Mendhar Gunners conveyed best wishes to the Mendhar Cricket Committee for the successful conduct of the event and assured all possible help in near future for organising such events.
