Mehta levels serious allegations over JKCA’s sub-committee

JAMMU, Nov 12: Former joint secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association, Sudershan Mehta today levelled serious allegations over the newly appointed BCCI’s sub-committee which is looking after day to day JKCA affairs.
While addressing a press conference here, he alleged that the incumbent sub-committee members of JKCA are getting Rs 10000 per day/ per person and since its establishment, the per/person of the sub-committee has got Rs 48 lakhs till date from the BCCI exchequer, while adhoc member of the sub-committee got Rs 36 lakh from the exchequer.
“Although, it is an honorary post and nobody can get its remuneration rather than TA/DA during his/her officials’ visit,” he alleged.
He also alleged that the four members committee is in brazen violation of the Supreme Court approved Lodha reforms over their supervision of JKCA falls directly under the conflict of interest guidelines of Lodha reforms. This is a matter of investigation by the Central investigative agency, so that the truth prevails and culprits be booked under the relevant laws, he said.
