JAMMU, Mar 2: Two players from Jammu and Kashmir namely Mehsheed Mohammad Javid Bhat and Rahat Shakeel have been selected to represent India in the 2018 World Ju-Jitsu Championship, being held at Abu Dhabi from March 1 to 5, 2018.
The selection of the Indian team was held during National Ju-Jitsu Championship held at Kochi in Kerala recently.
The players were flagged off from Jammu in an impressive function wherein Abdul Qyoom, Chief Sports Officer was the chief guest on the occasion, who was accompanied by Noor Mohd Wani, Administrative Officer, Shafkat Shafi, Coach and Tarsem Sharma, General Secretary.
The chief guest and other dignitaries while wishing the players good luck, hoped for good show of the state players at the International scene.
