JAMMU, Sept 15: J&K’s ace Chess player Meenal Gupta impressed in World Junior Under-20 Girls Chess Championship at Gabze in Turkey. After her stunning performance at the conclusion of first 6 rounds, her impressive game against Kanakova Natalie of Czech Republic was analysed by Grand Master of Greece in the studio. She was invited for the live broadcast by International journalists. She is gaining 102 rating points from this event and once again has crossed the rating of all the senior men of J &K state. Her live world chess federation rating is 2065 which is higher than all the players of Jammu and Kashmir including all the senior men players. All J&K chess association office bearers congratulated Meenal for wonderful show at world level event. She is the first ever chess player from J&K state to participate in World Junior Chess Championship.
