JAMMU, Apr 16: The Martyrs Memorial Prize Money Badminton Tournament concluded today at Champions arena Badminton Hall, Chowadi, Jammu, under the organisation of High Toss Sports Club Jammu, witnessing participation from around 60 young players across Under-13 and Under-17 categories.
The closing ceremony was graced by chief guest Sandeep Gupta. Kamal Sharma and Vinay Saraf also attended as guests of honour.
In Under-13 Boys Singles, Mehrab emerged winner, while Ayaaansh Malhotra secured the runner-up position and Satvik Singh finished third. In Under-13 Girls Singles, Kirat Choudhary clinched the title, followed by Akshini Manhas as runner-up and Aarya Mahajan in third place.
In Under-17 Boys Singles, Gopesh Singh secured first place, Vivaan Chib finished runner-up and Vansh Dahiya claimed third position. In Under-17 Girls Singles, Kirat Choudhary again stood first, Bhavya Wazir was runner-up, and Akshini Manhas finished third.
The tournament was conducted under the supervision of Satpal Sharma, retired SAI badminton coach, with officials including Bhaktawar Singh, Sunil Bakshi, Arjun Sharma and Vikash Kumar managing proceedings. Several dignitaries and sports enthusiasts attended the concluding ceremony.
