Selection Matches of Physically Challenged Cricketers

JAMMU, Apr 21: Martyr Ramesh Yadav XI registered second consecutive win in the ongoing Selection Matches of Physically Challenged Cricketers at GGM Science College Cricket Ground, here.
These selection matches for the Physically Challenged Cricketers for picking Indian team for participation in the world Cup, is jointly being organized by J&K Physically Challenged Cricket Association and J&K Cricket Association (JKCA).
In today’s match Sukhjinder Singh, Director of J&K PCCA was the chief guest who was introduced with the participating players of both the teams.
The event is being conducted under the chairmanship of Syed AH Bukhari, CEO JKCA, while Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal, Member JKCA is the Co-Chairman.
Ravi Chouhan Founder Secretary of Physically Challenged Cricket Association of India, Satish Gupta and Sukhjinder Singh Directors of the J&K PCCA, Ashish Singh Vice President of J&K PCCA, Sanjeev Mahajan Sports Advisor of J&K PCCA are the members of Organising Committee, while Rajesh Gill, President J&K PCCA and Rajesh Dhar, Secretary J&K PCCA are the Coordinators of the event.
Earlier, Martyr Ramesh Yadav XI defeated Martyr Raj Tilak XI by 32 runs.
Batting first, Martyr Ramesh Yadav XI scored 137 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Vinay Yadav scored unbeaten 49 runs, while Naresh and Sushil contributed 22 and 16 runs resepctively. From the bowling side, Mohit took 3 wickets while Mehzub, Sanjay and Mani claimed 1 wicket each.
In reply, Martyr Raj Tilak XI managed to score 105 in 17.2 overs, thus lost the match by 32 runs. Satya Paul top scored with 38 runs. From bowling side, Swapnil and Ajay took 2 wickets each, while Mohit, Raju and Gurpreet took 1 wicket each.
