Police Martyrs Memorial T20 Tournament

KATHUA, Dec 20: Malik Sports Club Delhi and LB Shastri Club Delhi scripted emphatic victories over their rivals on the 2nd day of the 8th Police Martyrs Memorial North Zone T20 Cricket Championship 2018 at Sports Stadium, here.
The first match was played between Malik Sports Club Delhi and Gursagar Cricket Club Chandigarh.
Malik Sports Club chose to field after winning the toss. Gursagar Cricket Club Chandigarh set a target of 132 runs in 20 overs which Malik Sports Club Delhi chased in 19.2 overs by losing 6 wickets. Mehul Bhagel of Malik Sports Club was declared as the man of the match. He scored 60 runs off 39 balls with 3 sixes and 6 boundaries.
In another match LB Shastri Cricket Club Delhi defeated Kashmir Cricket Club from Kashmir in an easy contest by 9 wickets.
Kashmir Cricket Club set a target of 84 runs in the stipulated 20 overs by losing 8 wickets. Shakil Alam of LB Shastri Club Delhi was declared as the man of match who scored 49 runs in just 32 balls with 8 boundaries and 1 six.
Large number of spectators witnessed the match.
