JAMMU, Dec 10: Describing interpersonal relationship between students, teachers and parents, especially at the basic schooling level, as an important component of learning process, Provincial president National Conference Devender Singh Rana on Tuesday said this aspect should not lose the sight of school managements.
Rana was addressing the 8th Annual Day function of Crescent Public School at Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu here this afternoon.
“Grooming young minds is a crucial challenge, not only for parents and students but also the managements, which have to generate such an environs in educational institutions where youngsters can grow in harmony”, he said.
Saying Annual Day function is a special occasion for students and their parents,  Rana hoped these events will prove beneficial for the young people to demonstrate their talent in various spheres of activity.
The Provincial President expressed happiness over growing consciousness among parents in being part of the activities of their children and said this spirit will help in creating congenial atmosphere for youngsters to grow as responsible citizens.
Referring to the spread of education across the state, Mr Rana said that growing consciousness among parents has resulted into a sea change over the years, which is even discernible in remote and far flung areas. He made a mention of young boys from rural areas making mark in various competitive and civil services examinations and said this is going to have a positive impact on the generations to come.
On the occasion, students presented a variety programme, depicting different facets of the pluralistic ethos of Jammu and Kashmir.
