AKHNOOR, Jan 28: Little Flower High School Akhnoor celebrated its 10th Annual Day cum Prize Distribution Function with pomp and show at Ward No-2 here today.
On the occasion, Sham Lal Sharma (Sr. Congress Leader & former Minister) was the chief guest, who inaugurated the celebrations by lighting the traditional lamp in the presence of guest of honour Shilpa Mahajan (Corporater Ward No 5), special guest Nazreen Akhtar (Zonal Education Officer Akhnoor).
It was followed by the cultural items, enthralling the entire audience. There was a festive atmosphere and the children enjoyed the activities during celebration of the day.
Earlier, Vice Principal of the school, Parveen Kumar presented welcome address.
The programme highlights were Shiv Vandana and students of nursery class made a beautiful presentation by high lightning the culture of different states.
School Principal Kr Sham Singh Langeh presented the annual report and highlighted the vision statement of the school.
Meritorious students in various classes and extra co-curricular activities were awarded by the chief guest.
The chief guest in his address praised the efforts of the school management in providing wholesome education at very affordable rates.
Vote of thanks was presented by Rajinder Sharma (President Management Committee).
