JAMMU, Feb 2: The Lieutenant Governor of J&K, GC Murmu presented the award of honour to J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides contingent for good show during the celebration of 71st Republic Day, here.
Mr Murmu is also the Chief Patron of J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides.
The J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides contingent consisted of 80 students headed by Scout Gaurav Kumar & Guide Vaishali Rajrah.
The contingent was trained under the supervision of Commissioner Scouts & Guides Wg Cdr MM Joshi and RC Vaid. It is pertinent to mention that the J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides has been participating in the Republic Day Parade since last 15 years.
The contingent displayed a well coordinated March Past which was highly appreciated by the audience.
