Leh, Baramulla eves emerge victorious, Samba boys register win

SRINAGAR, Apr 20: The girls teams of Leh and Baramulla emerged victorious, while the boys team of Samba registered convincing win over their rivals in the ongoing Final Phase of the JKSSC Youth Football Legue, being organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association, here.
In the first match of the day, girls from Leh their counterparts from Kathua by three goals to nil (3-0). Sonam scored 2 goals, while Stanzin Chondol netted one for the winners.
In another match of girls section, Baramulla defeated Budgam by two goals to nil (2-0).
In the boys category match, Samba defeated Pulwama by (2-0). Anant Singh scored both the goals for Samba.
Nuzhat Ara, Divisional Sports Officer Kashmir, Nusrat Gazala, Divisional Sports Officer Central, Ab Lateef Accounts Officer Sports Council and ace footballer Mehraj Ud Din Wadoo were present during the matches.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Srinagar will take on Leh and Baramulla will lock horns with Jammu.
