Lalli, Kaka share Bhatyari-Bishnah Dangal title

KATRA, Nov 14: Ninth Annual Bhatyari-Bishnah Kesari Dangal 2015 was organized by Bhatyari Dangal Committee in association with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association under the overall supervision of President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association Shiv Kumar Sharma and Surinder Sharma at village Bhatyari in Bishnah, today.
Fifty eight bouts were played in the one day long wrestling event wherein Wrestlers from Delhi, Punjab and J&K participated.
Joint Secretary J&K State Sports Council Jammu, who is also Treasurer Indian Style Wrestling Association of India was the chief guest on the occasion who gave away cash prizes to the winners and runner-up wrestlers.
Retired Tehsildar and general secretary J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association, Bansi Lal Tidyal presided over the function. Social Activist, Wrestling Promoter and leading Businessman Ram Paul Sharma and Sarpanch Surjit Singh were the guests of honour.
The first main bout was fought between wrestler Lalli af Ludhiana in Punjab and wrestler Kaka of R.S. Pura in Jammu. This bout ended in a draw that lasted for 25 minutes and both the wrestlers jointly awarded with cash prize of Rs 12,000 by the dignitaries on the occasion.
The proceedings of the dangal were conducted by Mohd. Fareed, while welcome address was presented by JE Surinder Sharma and the vote of thanks was presented by Shiv Kumar Sharma.
