JAMMU, Sept 2: Kalarippayattu Association of J&K elected its new office bearers for the term of four years in its annual general body meeting at Amar Singh Club, here wherein Rajeev Sharma and Manjeet Singh were elected aspPatron and chairman respectively.
Tarsem Sharma was nominated as chief executive officer , CA Lalit K Gupta was elected as Honorary President & Gul-e-Surkhab as Senior Vice President , while Shuja Zaffar , Archit Puri , Balbir Singh were nominated as Vice Presidents , Danish Sharma as Honorary General Secretary and Arshad Aziz , Sandeepan Dutta , Sahil Sharma were nominated as Joint secretaries besides Abhishek Pandita has been elected as treasurer and Harsh Vardhan Raina , Shabir Ahmad Lone and Rohini Chib were nominated as executive members of the association.
Elections were held as per the guidelines of Indian Kalarippayattu Federation and constitution of Kalarippayattu Association of J&K.
Vikas Gupta – Joint Secretary (JKOA) was observer from J&K Olympic Association.
The meeting ended with the Vote of thanks presented by Lalit K Gupta – president of the Association.
