JAMMU, Apr 24: Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre will be organizing a recruitment rally for Infantry Soldier General Duty (GD) and Infantry Soldier Tradesmen categories at Phyang from May 7 to May 10.
According to a handout issued here by Defence Spokesperson, “Soldier (General Duties) candidates should belong to Leh and Kargil. Buddhists from Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir are also eligible for the rally. Soldier Tradesmen categories should belong to all India classes (AIC)”.
Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearms i,e from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of Palm/back (dorsal) side of hand. Tattoos on any other part of the body are not acceptable and candidate will be barred from further screening.
All candidates are advised to get their ears cleaned from ENT Specialist and filling done in decayed teeth before recruitment rally as the same is the main cause of rejection by medical authorities.
