KV Nagrota organizes 29th National Youth Parliament Competition

JAMMU, Aug 9: Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), Nagrota organized 29th National Youth Parliament Competition in Regional Level.
On the occasion, Yash Paul Kundal, ex-Minister for Animal and Sheep Husbandry was the chief guest, while DR Meena, Assistant Commissioner, KVS (RO), Jammu, Principal RK Shukla, Bimla Pandit, various escorts and vibrant participants were also present.
The programme started with lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest, followed by Saraswati Vandana by the students.
RK Shukla, Principal of the Vidyalaya presented the welcome address, followed by DR Meena, Assistant Commissioner, KVS RO Jammu, who addressed the participants of Youth Parliament Competition held between various schools which included KV No. 1 Jalandhar, KV No. 3 Amritsar, KV No. 2 Pathankot and KV No. 1 Akhnoor.
DR Meena, one of the jury members declared the results of the competition. KV No. 1 Jalandhar achieved the first position.
Later, Yash Paul Kundal distributed the prizes to the winners and the best performers from different teams and blessed the entire gathering through his motivational address.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Rajani Bala, followed by National Anthem.
