JAMMU, Sept 15: Superb batting by Vineet Raina and Anshul helped Walley CC and Satisar CC to register emphatic wins over APCC and Ace CC by 77 and 93 runs respectively in ongoing Kashmiri Pandit Cricket League, played at KC Sports Club Ground here today.
In the first match, Walley CC scored 192 runs with the loss of 4 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Vineet Raina scored 107 runs off 54 balls, while Ravi Pandita made 60 runs off 50 balls. For Ace CC, Sumit took three wickets, while Mohit clinched one wicket.
In reply, Ace CC bundled out at 115 runs in 15.5 overs wherein Mohit Bamoo made highest 47 runs, whereas Hritik and Nihal contributed 21 and 12 runs to the total respectively. For Walley CC, Rakesh, Vineet Raina and Ravi Pandita secured 2 wickets each, whereas Sanjay and Rohit clinched one wicket apiece and lost the match by 77 runs.
In another match, Satisar CC defeated APCC by 93 runs. Batting first, Satisar CC scored 177 runs by losing 4 wickets in which Anshul scored 74 runs and Suman Koul remained not out at 73 runs. From the bowling side, Anmol took three wickets, while Deepak Koul bagged one wicket.
While chasing the target, the opponent team-APCC all out at 84 runs and lost the match by 93 runs in which Mintoo made highest runs. From the bowling side, Amit took 4 wickets, while Ritik clinched 3 wickets and Rounak bagged 1 wicket for his team.
