KATRA, Dec 22: The Sports wing of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board organized chess and carrom championship for the employees of the Shrine Board working at Adhkumari, Sanjichat, Bhawan and Bhairon, here.
19 players participated in 2-day competition held at Gymnasium Hall at Bhawan, wherein Sanjay Rasotra won the carrom title, while Ravinder Koul bagged chess trophy.
The winners and runners-up layers were felicitated by the chief guest, Jagdish Singh, Sub Divisional Magistrate Bhawan and guest of honour, Dhuni Chand, Tehsildar Bhawan.
The matches were conducted by Raman Gupta, Sunil Khajuria and Jideep Kumar.
