Kishtwar Campus brings laurels to JU

JAMMU, Sept 7: Kishtwar campus brought laurels to Jammu University by winning three prizes in the IT Festival, organised by Islamic University of Science and Technology, Awantipora, Srinagar.
In the festival, about 15 universities from different parts of the country participated, in which Kishtwar campus has been awarded 7th rank.
The team from the Kishtwar campus included Surbhi Mahajan, Alliyaha, Naveed-ul-Islam, Momin Ramzan, Anu Salaria and Poonam Choudhary.
Monika Choudhary, student of MSc IT, 1st semester, bagged first prize in the Singing Competition and was announced as Vasturvan idol.
Anu Salaria and Monika Choudhary of MSc IT, 1st semester bagged third position in the Antakshri Competition, while, Momin Ramzan of MSc IT, 3rd semester, secured third prize in Technical Coding Competition.
Vice Chancellor, Jammu University, Prof Mohan Paul Singh Ishar, Director Kishtwar Campus, Prof Shohab Inayat Malik, incharge MSc IT Department Ritu Singh, Placement coordinator, Ashish Sharma and Liaison officer, Mubasher Hussain congratulated the students.
The Kishtwar campus contingent was led by Naseer-ul-Haq, Teaching assistant, IT Department.
