SRINAGAR, July 17: Kirmani High School Butwani Ganderbal bagged first position in seminar cum debate competition on the topic ‘Religion and Morality’ held in the School premises today.
Mir Ghulam Rasool, chief spokesperson PRP was the chief guest on the occasion. The second position was bagged by Bay’s Land School Vakura while the third position went to Gosia School Rawatpora.
The students while participating in the debate said that all religions teach morality, brotherhood and humanity and message of all religions was the same as they all have one goal to achieve.
Giving away the prizes, Mr Rasool urged the students to practice religion in real sense and work for betterment of humanity. He asked them to imbibe the good habits in the life as taught by spiritual leaders and religious heads. He stressed on cleanliness, saving water and electricity as its loss is a national loss.
Chairman of Kirmani School Abdul Ahad Dar also spoke on the occasion.
