JAMMU, June 4: Chairperson of Kids Planet Public School Rohit Gupta along with Principal Mona Gupta visited Government Middle School Kapai-Di-Ban, Zone Akhnoor.
During the visit, they distributed usable items like school shoes, jute mats, almirahs, sports kit, laminated charts and maps, school bags, water cooler, water purifier, water container with tap, green board, notebooks etc to the students.
Rohit Gupta took an initiative and adopted the above mentioned school as a part of his routine social service.
Rohit Gupta had asked for the demands to the Incharge of the institution Narinder Langer and today along with Principal he handed over the demanded items of worth Rs 32000 to the children.
Vice-Principal Rita Manhas, Administrator Ankush Sharma, ZEPO Akhnoor, Principal Government High School Kotli Tanda, Sarpanch Chamail Singh, Panch Nazneen, parents of the students, villagers, staff and students were also present.
Mona Gupta put light on the sizzling issue of Beti Bachao Beti Padao. She said that the Government has taken an initiative to balance the ratio of female with comparison to male. She added that females are stronger than males and if we don’t educate them it means we kept a family uneducated.
“Today girls are excel in all fields even in boards results girls are leaving behind boys, then why parents are avoiding to educate them”, she said and requested the parents not to differentiate between a girl and a boy and insisted everyone to let their girls go for a higher studies. She also announced to give free education to the students doing excel in studies.
