JAMMU, June 5: Jammu and Kashmir State Kho-Kho Association selected men and women kho-kho teams to participate in the North Zone (NZ) Kho-kho Championship to be held at Chandigarh from June 7 to June 9, 2013.
Prior to participation, a 21 days coaching camp was organized at Green Play Field, under the supervision of coaches Anil Kumar and Heena Baghal.
On the final day of the coaching camp today, sports kits were distributed among the selected players by Anil Gupta, president J&K State Amateur Kabaddi Association, while secretary J&K State Kabaddi Association, BS Tirthi was present on the occasion.
The team: Boys: Sahil Dev Singh, Shubam Singh Bhau, Balbir Singh, Abhishek Singh, Jagdev Singh, Raman Kumar, Anikat, Harsh, Pankaj, Harjit, Manpreet Singh and Mohd Israr.
Girls: Dolly Sharma, Kamaljeet Kour, Mandeep Kour, Rafeena, Shibali Bhau, Pooja Sharma, Gurpreet Kour, Jaspreet Kour, Kamini, Komal, Bhavana Koul and Aina Sohal.
Anil Kumar and Ankush Sharma will accompany the boys team as coach and manager respectively, while Heena and Abhishek will accompany the girls team coach and manager respectively.
