DODA, Sept 3: Trial-cum-selection matches were held in the discipline of Kho-Kho, Badminton and Volleyball here at Sports Stadium, here today.
Around 85 students drawn from various Higher Secondary Schools, High Schools and Middle Schools of Zone Doda participated in the competitions.
The tournament is being held on the directions of Director General of Youth Service and Sports J&K Saleem-ul-Rehman and District Youth Services Sports Officer, Jaffar Hussain Sheikh, whereas In-charge Zonal Physical Education Officer, Doda supervised the matches.
The matches were officiated by Ravinder Singh PET, Vijay Manhas PEM, Anayatullah Gattu PET, Nareshna Devi PET, Majid Wani PEM, Chaman Lal PEM, Vinod Kumar PEM, Satya Devi PET, Akif, Azhar Aziz, Vijay, Daver, Sharik and Parvaiz all REKs.
