JAMMU, Aug 7: Khalsa Warriors defeated Shaheed Bhagat Singh Hockey Club by the margin of 6-0 goals, whereas another match ended with 1-1 draw played between Deshmesh Club Nanak Nagar and Babdurakh Hockey Club in the Hockey tournament, being played at Green Field Gandhi Nagar, here today.
The tournament is being organised by J&K Sports Council and Hockey J&K in connection with Independence Day Sports Week. DrTaran Singh, general secretary Hockey J&K was the chief guest of the first match, whereasCharanjeet Singh Chief Coach of J&K Police was chief guest of the 2nd match.
The matches were officiated by Gurpreet Singh, Balmeet Singh, Tajinder Singh, D Singh and Joginder Singh.
