JAMMU, May 16: Khalsa Club Gol Gujral and Bandu Rakh Hockey Club advanced to the final of the Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji 7-A-Side Night Hockey Tournament 2026 after registering impressive victories in their respective semi-final matches.
In the second semi-final, Bandu Rakh Hockey Club defeated Sahil Hockey Club Gol Gujral by 3-1 in a thrilling contest played amid an enthusiastic atmosphere.
Earlier, Khalsa Club Gol Gujral booked their berth in the final after defeating Shahid Bhagat Singh Hockey Club by 4-1 in the first semi-final. The match witnessed intense competition and drew appreciation from spectators for the discipline and teamwork displayed by both teams.
The grand finale of the tournament will be played tomorrow at 7 pm between Khalsa Club Gol Gujral and Bandu Rakh Hockey Club. The tournament is being organized by Khalsa Club Gol Gujral under the aegis of Hockey Jammu and Kashmir and the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council. Tarun Singh attended the occasion as chief guest, while Tejinder Singh Raju was also present.
