KCPS shines at Jammu District Wushu C’ship

JAMMU, Dec 5: A team of 40 students from KC Public School participated in the Jammu District Wushu Championship 2024, held at the Khelo India Centre in Bhagwati Nagar.
The students delivered an outstanding performance, securing a total of 24 medals across various age categories. The team won 6 Gold, 5 Silver, and 13 Bronze medals, marking a remarkable achievement in this prestigious martial arts competition, which saw participation from a large number of Jammu schools.
In recognition of their achievements, a special assembly was organized at the school this morning. Principal AK Mishra and Headmistress Sofia Rana congratulated the Wushu team, most of whom were from the Junior Wing, for their exemplary performance at the district level. They expressed their best wishes for the students as they look ahead to greater success in the upcoming levels of competition in this traditional Chinese martial art form.
The event showcased the school’s commitment to nurturing young talent in various sports and martial arts disciplines, further strengthening their reputation in extracurricular excellence.
