JAMMU, Dec 9: KC Public School defeated Doon International
School in the ongoing Sudarshan Mahajan Memorial Inter School Indoor Cricket Tournament, being sponsored by the Management of KC Public School at KC Sports Club, here.
The match of under-14 boys category was played inside the spacious cricket hall at the Club as per the indoor cricket regulations prevalent in the world.
Doon International won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, Doon made solid start fom the beginning and made 32 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Raksham made 13 runs and Adnan made 9 runs. Yash contributed 5 runs. Yuvraj took 3 wickets, while Prabal and Tazeem took 2 wickets each and Praful claimed one wicket.
While chasing the target KC Public also made solid start from the beginning and chase the target in just 5 overs. Ritvik scored 15 runs and Sparsh contributed 13 runs. K C Public School won the match by 8 wickets.
