JAMMU, Dec 31: KC Public School (KCPS), Jammu, organized a farewell ceremony, ‘Dastaan-e KCPS’, for the outgoing Class XII batch. The event was meticulously arranged by Class XI students under the mentorship of Shobhna Sethi, Activity Coordinator, who ensured the day was memorable and special for the seniors.
The ceremony commenced with an instrumental performance followed by a melodious farewell song, setting an emotional and celebratory tone. Class XI students presented a rich array of cultural programs, including mesmerizing group and duet songs, energetic hip-hop dances, scintillating Bhangra performances, and song renditions by young artists, reflecting years of friendship, shared experiences, and joyous memories with teachers and classmates.
A major highlight of the event was talent hunt, judged by Dr Rakesh Verma, Manoj Kapoor and Pooja Chaturvedi. Contestants were evaluated on imagination, creativity, confidence, presentation, voice projection, and crowd appeal. Aryan Dhar and Mrinmay Mehta were crowned Mr and Ms Perfieto for their outstanding performances, while all participants displayed remarkable talent and enthusiasm.
Head Boy Vardan Raina and Head Girl Harshita Manhas delivered heartfelt goodbye speeches, sharing cherished memories and expressing gratitude towards teachers and peers. Principal Amarendra Kumar Mishra appreciated the creativity and talent showcased by students, urging them to uphold the school’s spirit and wishing them success in their future endeavours.
