JAMMU, Aug 12: The Junior Wing of KC Public School celebrated the Green Living Festival with great aplomb and enthusiasm, here today.
Meaningful board displays were put up to highlight the importance of trees, spreading the message that one who plants a tree plants a hope.
On this occasion, a special assembly was conducted which conveyed the message that environment should not be vitiated and each one should work towards sustainable development.
A Dance Carnival was organized, wherein each choreographed dance item presented by class 1st students urged everyone to save the environment by planting one sapling to prevent further desertification of the earth.
Parents came in large numbers to attend the function.
Speaking on the occasion, Headmistress, Sophia Rana emphasized on maximum plantation for healthy environment.
