KCIS celebrates Grandparents Day

JAMMU, Feb 27: KC International School (Pre-Primary Wing) celebrated the bond of love with grandparents during Grandparents day, here today.
The event was aimed at conveying that the grandparents are directing the family to the right path by radiating values of love, care and compassion.
The event started with the lighting of lamp by Chairman, Vinay Mahajan, Vice Chairman, Chaitanya Chowdhary and Principal, Maya Mishra.
The kids of Pre Primary wing enthralled the grandparents by a welcome song and beautiful dance performances.
Games like a ball game, stepping heart, feel your grandchild, put bindi on the face, drape the saree, a fireless cooking and a ramp walk were the other key spotlights of the day. Bodh Raj Khajuria and Vandana Sharma were crowned  Mr Forever Young Grandpa and Mrs. Forever Young Grandma respectively.
Sharing the views, Maya Mishra, Principal of KCIS said that the grandparents should never be overlooked in the families and should be given opportunities to be the part of our joys.
