Kceans shines in Global Round Square Quiz

JAMMU, May 19: Round Square affiliated Chittagong Grammar School Bangladesh organised an inter-school quiz named ‘Climate Matters: One Planet One Future – Environmental Literacy Competition.’
The quiz was spread over a period of three weeks from April 24 to May 14. It was a quiz that required sequential and individual logging by participants to complete parts of the quiz during the period mentioned above.
Twenty Round Square schools from all over the world namely Abbotsham School United Kingdom, RBIS School Thailand, Rockhampton Grammar School Australia, CGS School Bangladesh, Okinawa Amicus International School Japan, Chittagong Grammar School Bangladesh, Daly College India and other participated in the quiz based on environment.
Students of K.C Public School also took part in this quiz and gained 19th position at the starting stage. From this position, they gradually progressed forward till they reached the first position.
Around 35 Kceans closely associated with the Paryavaran Sadan, the Environment Club of the School, participated in the quiz under the guidance and support of their teachers Kamaljeet Kour and Neha Badyal.
Six students of K.C Public School, namely, Vanshika Bhat, Arnav Gupta, Manvika Mehta, Advay Barna, Ria Nargotra and Kritin Jain maintained a consistent lead during the progression of the quiz. Finally, Vanshika Bhat and Arnav Gupta of class 9th achieved the first and the second ranks respectively on the individual leader-board maintained by the host school.
Chairman Raju Chowdhary, Managing Director Arti Chowdhary and others congratulated the Kceans for their marvellous achievement in this international level event.
