JAMMU, July 20: KCCC today entered into final of Jammu Tawi Summer T-20 Premier League by defeating its rival Tawi Sports Club (TSC) in a low scoring 1st semi-final match played today.
Batting first, TSC managed to score a paltry total of 55 runs in 14.1 overs by losing all wickets. Abdul Samad scored highest 14 runs for the team while Rahul and Sumit also contributed 9 runs each to the total. For KCCC, Ram Dayal took highest 3 wickets, Akash and Manik claimed 2 wickets each while Ankush took one wicket.
In reply, KCCC easily chased the target in 11.1 overs by losing just four wickets. Bandeep Singh made highest 20 runs for the team while Ram Dayal and Somay Jain scored 15 runs each. For TSC, Sumit scalped 2 wickets whereas Manjeet Singh claimed one wicket. Ram Dayal was declared as Man of the Match for his impressive performance with both bat and ball.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain Malik and Vinod Kandayara as umpires while Sandeep Manchanda acted as scorer.
