JAMMU, Oct 28: Kishen Chand Cricket Club (KCCC) got the better of Tawi Sports Club by a margin of 39 runs in an easy contest of the ongoing Friendship Cup 5-Match Cricket Series, being organized by KCCC at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
Earlier, KCCC rode on a brilliant batting display by young Aarav Mahajan and Snoop to score 129 runs in 35 overs. Snoop top scored with 45 runs, while Aarav contributed well-made 36 runs to the total. Both the batsmen played with grace, fluidity and brilliance. Arya also chipped in with 19 runs. For Tawi Sports Club, Abhinav Khajuria, Praful Dhar, Keshav, Sahil, Vikas and Chitwan claimed one wicket each.
In reply, Tawi Sports Club bundled out for 89 runs to lose the match by 39 runs. Arjun, Cherian and Praful contributed 15, 13 and 8 runs to the total respectively. For KCCC, Nityam Abrol was the pick of the bowlers, who took 4 important wickets, while Suraj bagged 3 and Snoop claimed one.
