JAMMU, June 4: Star-studded Kishen Chand Cricket Club (KCCC) and formidable Jammu Cricket Club registered convincing victories over their rivals in the ongoing ‘Simula T20 Super League’, being played at GGM Science College Hostel Ground, here.
The Super Cricket league in which 10 premier teams namely JCC, NCC, Simula, Shastri, RCC Srinagar, J&K Sports Promoters Club, KCCC, KC Sports Club, Singh Cricket Club and Laxmi CC are participating is being organized by Simula Global Group of Companies and Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association and supported by JK Channel. The organizing committee is headed by Hilal Rather, MD Simula Group, while the committee members include Desh Rattan Dubey, Joint Secretary JKCA, Rajesh Dhar, Chairman Media Committee JKCA, Anshuman Sharma, Mohit Puri, Atul, Vivek Thapa, Vikram Singh, Shashi, Beant Singh and Vishal whereas Rajesh Gill, former Ranji Player is the Coordinator .
Today In first match, KCCC defeated RCC Srinagar in an easy contest by 9 wickets.
Batting first, RCC got bundled out for 68 runs in 16.3 overs. Musaif Ajaz (21), Aithsham (11) and Dilbag singh (9) were the main contributors.
From bowling side, Vishal and Bandral took 3 wickets each, while Ramdyal, Bandeep and Akash claimed 1 wicket each.
KCCC, in reply, achieved the target easily in 7.3 overs for the loss of 1 wicket, thus won the match by 9 wickets. Vimarsh Kaw (41) and Jatin (26) were the main scorers.
From bowling side, Dilbagh Singh took the lone wicket to fall. Vimarsh was adjudged as man of the match and was awarded with Rs 1000.
In the second match, JCC defeated Singh Cricket Club by 5 wickets.
Batting first, Singh Cricket Club scored 89 runs for the loss of all wickets in 20 overs , Pankaj with (19) ,Sonu Manohar (17) and S.Malotra (16) were the main scorers. From JCC Deepak Dogra , Rahil Singh, Vishwajeet Singh,Vivek Singh and Vivrant shared 2 wickets each.
JCC, in reply achieved the target in 11.3 overs for the loss of 3 wickets and thus won the match by 7 wickets. Vishavjeet Singh and Paras made 30 each while Sandeep contributed 12 runs to the total.
From bowling side Vishal took 2 wickets, Sham, Sonu Malhotra and Sushil took 1 wicket each. Vishwajeet Singh was adjudged man of the match and awarded with Rs.1000.
The matches was officiated by Sadiq Hussain,Saleem Ur Rehman, Madan Mohan, Sandeep and Vinod Kandayara.
In tomorrow fixture, Rainawari CC will take on NCC at 8.30 am, Shastri Club will face KC Sports Club at 12.00 noon and Laxhmi CC will meet KCCC at 3.00 pm.
