JAMMU, Sept 9: Kishan Chand Cricket Club (KCCC) Jammu organised an impressive felicitation function to honour the players of its Junior Cricket team that emerged winner in Under-16 Police Public Cricket Premier League (PPCPL) and runners-up in JKCA Under-16 Premier League in separate tournaments, here.
Apart from all the participating players of the team, the function was attended by Former Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association and President of KCCC, Romesh Mahajan; Working Committee Member JKCA and Mentor of the team, Ankush Abrol and Member of team Management, Rahul Mahajan, besides team coach Ashok Kumar and Ravi Sharma.
While lauding the efforts of the players and the support staff, Mr Mahajan presented gifts to all the members of the team for this outstanding achievement.
He lavished praise on mentor and coach of the team for being instrumental in polishing the skill of the players, besides infusing discipline and building temperament.
It is pertinent to mention here that KCCC Senior and Junior Cricket teams, have the distinction of winning most of the mega cricket tournaments being held in the State, especially in Jammu from time to time.
