KCC thrashes DCC Paloura

JAMMU, Oct 19: In the ongoing 6th Pawan Memorial T-20 Cricket Tournament being held at Government Higher Secondary School, Akhnoor, Krishnanagar Cricket Club (KCC) defeated DCC Paloura in the lone match played today.
Winning the toss, KCC decided to bat first and raised a score of 167 for 6 in 20 overs. For KCC, Raman scored 54 runs in 37 balls, Prince 40 in 32 balls while Abishek also contributed 38 runs in 23 balls.
For DCC Paloura, Mangal was the pick of the bowler, who took 4 wickets, while Jamshed took 2 wickets.
In reply, DCC Paloura failed to chase the target and the whole team collapsed on 67 runs in 16.3 overs. Thus, KCC won the match by 100 runs.
For, DCC, Sushil made 20 runs in 27 balls, Vicky made 18 runs in 18 balls and Sushil also added 12 runs to the total. For KCC, Abishek took 3 wickets, Suraj claimed 2 wickets while Sanjay and Atti took one wicket each.
Abishek was declared as the man of the match for his spectacular performance with both bat and ball.
Vikas Bali and Sham Singh Langeh acted as umpires while Kulbir Singh was the scorer. The tournament is being organized by Singh Cricket Club, Akhnoor.
