JAMMU, Aug 22: KCSC-C defeated KCSC-A in an easy contest by 6 wickets in the ongoing 40-Over Cricket Tournament, being played at KC Sports Club ground, here.
Earlier, KCSC-A won the toss and decided to bat first.
Batting first, KCSC-A scored 150 runs in 40 overs. Arvind Bhardwaj, Fazil Rashid and Vicky Raina contributed 30, 23 and 20 runs to the total.From the bowling side, Aman Singh and Abhishant Bakshi took 3 wickets each, while Anmol Bhan bagged 2 wickets.
In reply, KCSC-C chased the target easily in 32.4 overs. Muneeb Munaf top scored with 61 runs, while Nawaz Rather and Yudhamanyu Singh contributed 38 and 19 runs respectively. Shubam Khajuria took 3 wickets, while Kamalpreet Singh claimed 1 wicket.
Muneeb Munaf was declared as the man of the match and awarded with a Gift Voucher sponsored by Ramada Hotel.
