KC Public students visit Malta as members of Indian delegation

JAMMU, May 7: In continuation to its efforts to promote Indo-Maltese co-operation in the field of education, the University of Malta in association with the High Commission of Malta in India sent a delegation comprising of 36 students and teachers from different schools of India to Malta from April 27 to May 4, 2014.
7 students of KC Public School from classes XI and XII, namely Vansh Sachdeva, Ridam Rekhi, Animesh Rohmetra, Mitakshara Chaudhary, Saubhagini Mahajan, Sanchit Gupta and Manthan Gupta led by Headmistress of Junior School, Sofia Rana were the members of this delegation.
After a hectic tour, these members returned to Jammu on May 5, 2014.
During their stay, they attended an academic programme in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics prepared jointly by the faculties of Science, Engineering and ICT of the University of Malta.
The members also got opportunities to interact with the faculty and the senior officials of the University and other Government Departments, besides enjoying some magnificent sightseeing in the small Republic in South Europe, rich in cultural heritage.
