JAMMU, Apr 25: In continuation to its efforts to promote Indo-Maltese co-operation in the field of education, the University of Malta in association with the High Commission of Maltain India is taking a delegation comprising of 36 students and teachers from different schools of India to Malta from April 27 to May 4, 2014.
The students would be attending an Academic Programme on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics prepared jointly by the faculties of Science, Engineering and ICT of University of Malta.
In addition, the students would also get an opportunity to interact with the faculty and the senior officials of the University and other Government Departments, besides some magnificent sightseeing and other thrilling experiences.
7 students of KC Public School led by Sofia Rana, Headmistress of Junior Wing are leaving Jammu tomorrow as members of this delegation. they will be joined by other members of the delegation from allover India and leave Delhi for Malta on April 27, 2014.
The student members of delegation from Classes XI and XII of KC are Vansh Sachdeva, Ridam Rekhi, Animesh Rohmetra, Mitakshara Chaudhary, Saubhagini Mahajan, Sanchit Gupta and Manthan Gupta.
In a special morning assembly to bid them Bon Voyage, Mrs Rana briefly apprised the assembly of the objectives of the delegation, while Academic Director of the School, Dr Ram Thakur on behalf of the school fraternity wished them a successful and enjoyable trip.
