JAMMU, Sept 18: KC Public School emerged overall champion in the District Level Inter School Swimming Meet, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at Jodhamal Public School, here recently.
The School bagged a total of 44 medals, with 18 gold, 16 silver and 10 bronze.
The swimmers who excelled in the Meet included Sanjeet, Karan Dhar, Abhinav, Akshita Mengi, Diya, Anika, Samya, Sanvi, Yatiksha, Osheen, Shreya, Garima, Mehrine, Arya, Nilay, Sawan, Sushan, Lily hau, Aksh, Arnav, Aditya, Adhar Koul, Vikas Koul and Pratul Singh. Diya Khajuria in the Under-14 girls category topped the individual ranking with 3 gold and 1 silver medal, while Karan Dhar in Under-17 boys category also topped the individual ranking with 3 gold medals to his credit.
School Principal, Amarendra Kumar Mishra lauded the efforts of the students and their coaches Babita Rani and Thakur Singh.
