JAMMU, Aug 19: KC Public School today celebrated World Photography Day in a very unique way.
It hosted a Guinness World Record created by Vickrant Mahajan, Bollywood actor and founder of Superpositivity Movement, who took the maximum number of selfies in one hour.
On invitation from Principal Amarendra Mishra, Vickrant clicked 1477 selfies along with enthusiastic students and teachers of the school. Everyone participated in a spirit of joy and exuberance and also pledged to improve their photography skills.
In the process, they surpassed the previous Guinness World Record of 1449 selfies taken by American sportsperson Patrick Peterson at the Deer Valley High School in Glendale, Arizona, USA on January 27, 2015.
Speaking on the occasion, Mishra said that there is lot of emphasis on art and photography in the school and this event done in collaboration with Vickrant is an appropriate step taken in that direction.
The event was recorded in video format in a single uninterrupted take of one hour. This is Vickrant’s 24th Guinness World Record in 2016.
