JAMMU, Aug 2: A function was organised by KC International School for the academic session 2022-23 at School atrium, which was presided over by the eminent educationists including Ranjeet Kalra, teaching faculty at University of Jammu and Member J&K Sports Council, chairman of the School, Chaitanya Choudhary, senior chairperson Saroj Mahajan and School Principal, Anupama Sinha.
The event was conducted with a high degree of earnestness and passion. During the event, students were pledged to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities. KCIS believes that the child centric approach will frame a responsible citizen.
Senior coordinator Roma initiated the event with a formal welcome note. All luminaries were called for the lighting of the lamp, followed by a welcome song. The students presented classical dance on a beautiful devotional song, which signifies removal of darkness and symbolizes virtue and holiness. Middle wing students presented an outstanding yoga act before the audience and got tremendous applause.
The elected leaders’ profiles were very well shared by the speakers. The students were conferred with badges by their parents who were invited on the occasion to enjoy the precious moment of witnessing their children shouldering various responsibilities. Sashes and appointment letters were given by the chief guest, chairman and Principal of the School.
The students’ council took the oath to hold the School motto of loyalty, truth and honour in high esteem. The chief guest congratulated them and advised them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. He also exhorted them to uphold the values.
The chairman of the School, Chaitanya Choudhary congratulated and appreciated the student council.
