JAMMU, May 14: KC International School organized its annual festival “Manthan 2016’’, in which around 100 students from various institutions tangled.
The guests for the competitive event were Raj Shavotra, MD of Acharya Academy for Dance and Aerobics, Gunjan Kohli who has worked in Army Public School Nagrota. Chaitanya Choudhary, VC, Saroj Mahajan, Maya Mishra, Principal and Kesar Patel, Headmistress of the school were also present.
The competitions held during Manthan were Adorn Yourself, Spin a Yarn, Colourful Splashes and Throbbing Feet, in which students participated whole heartedly.
To make the programme lively and interactive, there were songs, dance and musical performances by children of KCIS.
The schools, which participated in the event were APS Akhnoor, APS Domana, Jammu Sanskriti School, GD Goenka Public School, MIER, Presentation Convent and KC International School.
In Adorn Yourself, Jammu Sanskriti School, Presentation Convent and KCIS emerged winners, while in Spin A Yarn, KCIS secured first position, MIER and Presentation Convent shared second position and APS clinched third position.
In Colourful Splashes, APS Akhnoor bagged first and second positions, while KCIS and GD Goenka shared third rank.
In Throbbing Feet, KCIS, Jammu Sanskriti and GD Goenka bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
The Overall Rolling Championship trophy was claimed by KC International School, while Rolling Runner-Up Trophy was secured by APS Akhnoor.
