KC International School organises Inter-School Sur Sangam

JAMMU, Feb 1: To introduce the children to the majestic world of music, KC International School hosted 14th Inter school Music Competition-Sur Sangam, here today.
Ten renowned schools across Jammu took part in the musical gala in junior, senior and solo category.
Pawan Kumar Kotwal, SDM (North) was the chief guest, while Saroj Mahajan, Sr. Vice Chairperson and Chaitanya Chowdhary, Vice Chairman were present on the occasion.
The event started with lighting of ceremonial lamp by the chief guest followed by a welcome dance.
The event was adjudged by Naresh Sharma, Sunil Sharma, and Dr Chanchal Sharma.
The children sang the songs with a lot of passion, feel, aesthetics and confidence. The melodies of the budding stars pulled the heartstrings of the audience.
In Junior Category, KC International School bagged 1st place, while Jodhamal Public School and Doon International School shared 2nd spot and APS BD Bari claimed 3rd position.
In Senior Category, APS Ratnuchak bagged 1st position, APS BD Bari won 2nd position, while DBN Amarvilla and International DPS claimed 3rd spot.
In Solo Category, Jodhamal Public School claimed 1st position, KC International School bagged 2nd place, while Doon International and APS BD Bari shared 3rd spot.
The Musical event concluded with the vote of thanks presented by the Activity Coordinator, Rajni Malhotra appreciating the efforts put in by the staff and students of the participating schools in making the event a grand success.
She applauded the efforts of music teachers KCIS namely Michael and Mamta Kalotra.
