KC Gurukul School emerges winner in 4th District Jammu Petanque C’ship

JAMMU, Oct 5: 4th District Petanque Championship, organized by Petanque Association of J&K, concluded at KC International School.
In the Championship, five schools with more than 160 students participated.
On the occasion, the chief guest was Sukhdev Sharma, District Sports Officer, Department of Youth Services and Sports, while guest of honour was Chaitanya Choudhary, Chairman, Petanque Association of Jammu. Rattan Lal Sharma and Vice Principal Anupama Sinha were also present on the occasion.
The winners were awarded with medals.
KC Gurukul Public School emerged winner in the competition, while KC International School secured first runner-up position and DPS clinched second runner-up position.
The Championship was organised under the guidance of Tarsem Sharma, General Secretary, J&K Petanque Association and Activity Coordinator Rajni Malhotra.
In the end, Vice Principal Anupama Sinha presented vote of thanks.
