KC Gurukul celebrates 15th Annual Day

JAMMU, Dec 9: KC Gurukul Public School, Paloura, celebrated its 15th Annual Day with great zeal and vibrant cultural splendour. The event was graced by the Commissioner Secretary School Education, J&K-UT, RN Sharma, who presided as the chief guest. The action-packed 90-minute programme, based on the theme “Sambhav—nothing is impossible,” began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a devotional welcome dance.
The tiny tots of Nursery, LKG and UKG left the audience spellbound, while Grade I students captivated all with “Sound Odyssey: Then & Now.” Grade II’s riveting Qawwali and Grade III’s heartfelt dance expressing gratitude to parents were widely applauded. Grade IV showcased an impressive yoga performance and Grade V presented a thought-provoking depiction of Kalyug.
Grade VI enthralled everyone with the Salt Satyagraha, followed by Grade VII’s portrayal of the life and teachings of Gautam Buddha. Grade VIII delivered a powerful act on Operation Sindoor, and the opera on Vande Mataram moved the audience before the programme concluded with an energetic Bhangra.
Chief guest lauded the students’ talent and appreciated the school’s balanced enrolment of boys and girls. Academic Director Anu Jandial welcomed the guests, while Principal Mamta Sharma presented the annual report. Arush Choudhary delivered the vote of thanks and Chairman Arvind Mahajan praised the collective efforts of staff and students.
