JAMMU, Nov 22: In continuation of the Heritage Week Celebrations, the NSS wing of KC College of Education today organized an Inter-College ‘Slogan Writing and Poster Making Competition’, here.
The theme of the event was ‘Save the Heritage of Nation’.
Prof NA Ganai, Principal K.C. Law College and Prof SL Pandita, Vice Principal were the adjudicators of the event.
In slogan writing competition, Govt. Degree College, RS Pura bagged first prize whereas NSM College of Education and K.C. College of Education got second and third prizes respectively.
In poster making category, NSM College of Education was declared the best. The second and third positions went to Govt. P.G. College of Education and K.C. College of Education respectively.
Earlier welcoming the guests and the participants, Dr. Shamima Bano, Principal of the college said that such events go a long way in imbibing the spirit of belongingness to the rich heritage of the country among the students.
The programme was compered by Abhinesh Sharma and Himani Sharma while the vote of thanks was presented by Radhika Sharma.
The whole programme was convened by Priya Gupta, NSS Programme Officer.
