JAMMU, July 29: Eclipsing the magnificent innings of 60 runs by Jadvinder of Singh Cricket Club, Akhnoor, Vimarsh Kaw of Kishan Chand Cricket Club (KCCC) Jammu took his side to semifinals through a splendid innings of 58 runs in the ongoing Chevrolet Cup 2015 at KC School ground, here today.
The tournament is being sponsored by KC Motors and organized by KC Sports Club.
Earlier, batting first, SCC scored a decent total of 167 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Jadvinder scored 60 runs, while Binny contributed 27 runs to the total. For KCCC, Sahil Sharma was pick of the bowlers, who took 3 wickets, while Soumay Jain claimed 2 wickets.
In reply, KCCC rode on a brilliant knock of 58 runs by Kaw to win the match in a tight contest. Jatin also contributed 27 runs to the total. For SCC, Rajinder and Sunny took 2 wickets each. Vimarsh Kaw was adjudged man of the match for his fabulous innings and was presented a Westside Coupon worth Rs 500 by the organizers.
