JAMMU, Oct 9: Shooter Kavya Kochhar added another feather in her cap by securing silver medal in 10 m Air Pistol event in the All India Kumar Surendra Singh Inter-School Shooting Championship in Junior Girls Category held at Varanasi, Uttar Pardesh.
She was accompanied by coach Rajesh Virdhi.
For the first time Jammu and Kashmir has been recognized on All India Medal Tally in Women Air Pistol shooting. Her aim is to represent J&K and her country at International Shooting events and bring pride for the Jammu and Kashmir.
